How do I find all 10 pages of Jiub's Opus? ›

He'll ask you to find ten missing pages from the first volume of his opus. Agreeing to this request will trigger the quest. You'll find the ten pages (#1-10) scattered around the Soul Cairn. You won't have to do anything special to get them, other than kill some bonemen / mistmen / wrathmen.

Travel east, past purple craters/pools with light coming from them. Find one of the pools with several souls sitting around it. Head a small way east from this pool, up a small flight of stairs to a small shrine. The page will be on the floor in front of the shrine.

At the wall that divides the Soul Cairn in half, players should proceed into the southern area and head east along the wall. There is another stairway connected to the wall just ahead, and the first page of Jiub's Opus can be found at the top, right next to the Soul.

Jiub asks the Dragonborn to find the ten pages of his book spread across the Soul Cairn. Upon completion of this quest, the Dragonborn will be rewarded with the Locket of Saint Jiub and a pristine copy of Saint Jiub's Opus.

Page 9 can be found in a large building west of where Valerica is, with a single entrance and many bars blocking ways out or in. It is sitting next to a chest atop the building with a large sould gem floating above it.

Locations. Soul Cairn – In the second building to the right, after continuing down the path from the stairs to the Soul Cairn, by the chest in the corner.

Locations. Soul Cairn – Located in the first building to the right after walking down the stairs after entering the Soul Cairn. To get into the building, one must shoot an arrow or spell through each of the glowing orbs on each side of the door.

Go up stairs, (a lost soul should be sitting at the top), and through walkway, turn left and go up another set of stairs to a chest. The page will be on floor in front of chest.

Locations. Soul Cairn - Where Jiub sits next to an unlit campfire, to his left (south) there will be a stone floor with a well and a wisp soul circling it. The page is on the floor by the well.

Locations. Soul Cairn – From the south face of the fortified wall, head west until you reach a large fort wall with a building-like extension. Heading inside this building and through to the other side leads to an area sectioned off by barriers and a small building with a large crystal on top.

What happened to Jiub? ›

Saint Jiub the Eradicator was a Saint of both the Tribunal Temple and the New Temple. He was named a saint after cleansing Vvardenfell of the Cliff Racer menace. He was later killed in the city of Kvatch by a Dremora during the Oblivion Crisis, and his soul was sent to the Soul Cairn.

During combat, the Reaper will spit green slime, like the Afflicted. When defeated, it drops three empty black soul gems, an iron battleaxe, and a Daedra heart, suggesting that it is Daedric in nature. The Reaper is mentioned by some of the souls found in the Soul Cairn, even though they do not know who or what it is.

Locations. Soul Cairn - After passing the fortified wall (on the path to the castle) that separates areas, to the right there will be a ghost merchant named Morven Stroud, next to a broken horse carriage, the page is on a barrel next to Morven.

Locations. Soul Cairn – To the left (north) of Valerica's location will be a small building with a broken Word Wall, Durnehviir, and a chest. The page is in front of the chest on the right side.

Once you defeat Harkon and finish the Dawnguard DLC main questline, you can return to the Soul Cairn and speak with Valerica, which will then allow her to leave the realm and take up residence inside Castle Volkihar.

Jiub is located in the Boneyard side of the Soul Cairn to the southeast. Talk to Jiub at any time to receive the quest, and return all ten pages to him when you have them.

There are three soul gem fragments that are needed to activate the altar. You can find all three and you go around and defeat the keepers, massive soul gems (by eating soul husks for 10 seconds), steletons and what not. You much revisit the reapers layer before saving the mother.
