Northrop Grumman St. Augustine is home to the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye. A game changer for how the US Navy conducts battle management, the E-2 serves as a digital quarterback allowing our warfighters expanded battlespace awareness. During a recent info session, our college interns learned about the E-2's robust capabilities. Thanks to Keith Colvin (E-2 Manager of Programs), Don Edmunds (Manager of Industrial Security) and Yesenia Turner (Project Management) for sharing an educational and inspirational overview!

At every opportunity we strive to expand their horizons and go beyond day-to-day business.Recently, our interns gained insight regarding financial thoughts and considerations. As we know, it’s never too early to start planning our financial future. Special thanks to Smirna Hache, Business Development Manager, with Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union (NGFCU) for educating our interns on safe and sensible banking.NGFCU is a not-for-profit credit union with tremendous member benefits!Learn more at www.NGFCU.US

Northrop Grumman's St. Augustine summer internship program is off to a great start! In addition to focusing on assigned tasks, interns are learning the benefits of networking. As interns begin their professional careers, they are enjoying opportunities to form valuable partnerships in the workplace. We know building a strong network during the internship period will open new doors. I’m proud to say our interns are engaging in numerous activities including a recent ice cream social. The event was a success- our interns engaged leaders, cultivated new friendships, and tested their knowledge during a fun-filled trivia game. And the ice cream…. a definite hit! Special thanks to Raina Smithley, Director of the E-2 Product IPT and Randy Bradley, Vice President, and St. Augustine Site/Remote Operations Leader for attending our event.
