Lasted about a yearRebeccaWe put this in our entryway for toddler shoes and holding sunscreen and sunglasses. It started bubbling at the base and in the trim. So disappointed but we’ll let our kids destroy it before replacing. Bought Aug 2022, installed it November 2022 and it’s no longer pretty January 2024. For the price, not worth it. 1
Great cabinetWilliIT'S thin enough for my hallway and looks great. No problem assembling it. Just make sure you are using the boards in the right place! I don't like that I have to put a wall mount (get anchors for a sturdy placement),but they did this so that it is flush with the wall and go over the baseboard if you have baseboards. Measure baseboards before you buy. Overall looks great. The price could be lower, its not real wood, particle board. I would definitely recommend and they are paintable too. I get lots of compliments. I am buying a second one. WHats another two holes on my wall? Good luck.5
Great cabinet, damaged in box, great customer service EmilyLove this shoe cabinet for its size and functionality. Needed something for a small entry area and his works great. I would say the only down side is that the top piece was broken in half when we opened the box. Customer service was amazing and sent us a new top without any questions. The replacement was also chipped but we were able to repair so it wouldn’t be seen. Good cabinet, just remember it is not expensive materials so it may not be a great piece for high traffic. 4
Beautiful, but pricey and difficult assemblyLorianneI bought two sets on sale to combine together. They look great and I love the narrow profile. However, I did think it was expensive for what is and I did get a couple blisters on my hand from my screwdriver on this project. The screws were very difficult to screw into the denser wooden legs. I even stripped a few screws during the process of getting the screws into the legs flush. Luckily, Ikea provides spare parts at no cost online/in-store and I was able to pick up extra screws from customer service. 4
Impossible to AssembleJessicaI have put tons of ikea furniture together in my lifetime. My entire first apartment was ikea furniture that I self assembled and I’m telling you that this is impossible. I don’t know how others have been able to put this together. The screws do not fit in the holes, I even resorted to using pliers to force them and they do not budge. I will be retuning this half assembled because I can’t get the screws I managed to get in out now. Buyer beware! If I could give negative stars I would! I am so upset by this!1
Perfect proportionsDanielThere's something just perfect feeling about this piece. I figured it out when I installed it: I had to raise it up 3" (with blocks I made) because my baseboard trim was too tall. Once I installed it, it felt too high, and the bottom of the piece also felt too high. That's when I realized how spot-on the designers were when they came up with the proportions for this.Also, amazing to get all the shoes tucked away, and have a good solid surface on top!5

Very difficult to put togetherRachelI usually love ikea furniture because it’s pretty easy to put together. But this one is very difficult. The screws do not easily fit into the holes, and the instructions say not to use a power drill. Also, the screws are made out of a soft material, so my efforts to get the screws into the holes have led to many of them being stripped. I’m beyond frustrated and don’t know how I’m going to finish putting this thing put together. (I can’t rate this on all criteria in this review because I can’t even finish putting it together)1

Two screws required for mounting are not included!JonathanLove the design and it meets my needs; however, because this only has two legs and doors that require a strong pull to open, it requires mounting to the wall. There are two screw holes in the back support board to mount this and the instructions explicitly show that it needs to be mounted, but the screws to mount are NOT included. Also, the pre-drilled holes for mounting are so large, that most scres slide straight through - requiring a large washer to keep the screw in place - Ikea should include the two screws needed given this is not an optional step for this item and is a safety hazard. very disappointing.3
